Low-retention tips--improve sample recovery and pipetting accuracy
Problems can arise when using standard pipette tips to dispense solutions containing detergents. Often, due to the difference in surface energy between the plastic pipette tip and the sample, liquid will remain at the end of the tip. Sometimes it is difficult to imagine the cause of the residue, but it can cause inaccurate pipetting and loss of precious samples or expensive reagents. To solve this problem, low-retention pipette tips made of hydrophobic materials are used.

Features of low retention tips
Low retention tips are made of modern high water-resistance surface materials. The tips have a completely hydrophobic surface coverage and have high chemical tolerance. Low-adsorption tips maximize sample recovery, especially when pipetting solutions containing low surface tension solutions or other liquid detergents.

Application of low retention tips
Many molecular biology techniques require high sensitivity and high reliability and repeatability in pipetting.
